How To Access The Secret Developer Options On Android

How To Access The Secret Developer Options On Android: Google has given users more control over the operating system in Android. This is not so in iOS.

Android’s secret developer option is a menu that gives users all kinds of useful controls. These include changing the animation speed, selecting the Blue Tooth codec or limiting the number of apps running in the background.

The only problem with accessing this option is that it is hidden by default. Here we will tell you how you can access this hidden menu.

Easiest Way To Enable Developer Options

Step 1: Open the Device Settings app.

Step 2: Click on About phone. Here you will also see a section Build number. Some smartphones have to tap on software information to get here.

Step 3: Tap the build number several times, in a popup you will see X steps from being a developer. The number of times X is typed, the more you tap, the developer option will appear.

To activate the developer option, you need to tap the Build number, 7 times. The phone will then ask for your password or PIN. On providing this, a message will appear which reads “you are now a developer!”

Note: This same method is applicable in enabling the developer’s mode on the following android versions:

After the above steps are carried out, go back to the Settings menu and then tap on System. Here you see the Developer options under the Advanced section.

If you are not an expert in setting up a smartphone, leave this option hidden. If you want to hide this option after disassembling, disable it with the toggle on the top in the developer option.
