Unlike before when you can own/set up a page without having to create a Facebook profile. Difference Between Facebook Page And Facebook Profile
Wondering what is the difference between a Facebook page and a Facebook profile? I will clarify to you in the next paragraph.
A Facebook page is a public profile or account which is purposely created or set up for representation of public figures, to run businesses, celebrities, brands, and organizations. Pages can have an unlimited number of fans (likes) because it does not gain friends like the normal Facebook profile which allows you to have just a maximum number of 5,000 friends.
A Facebook profile is the root account of an individual where they can share life moments about them. These moments could be photos, videos, your current location/city, your home time, your school of study, your before or current job, your likes and dislikes.
With the above explanations, one could now tell the disparity between a Facebook page and a Facebook profile.
You must have also understood that the era of having a Facebook page without a Facebook profile is over. Now before you create a page for yourself, business or brand, you must have a personal Facebook profile to enable you to have access to manage a page.
Though you can still make your Facebook profile totally private that no one can even know you are on Facebook but can conveniently manage and run your Facebook page publicly.
Let us assume you have an existing page already or just created one and wish to add someone as an admin, this article will guide you through.

3. Security reasons: It’s advised you always have an alternative administrator in cases where your Facebook account is hacked, they can easily make you admin on your old page and remove the old profile to prevent further damages to your page.
